Comprehensive Conference Photography: The 77th Annual Assembly for IGDS in Seoul
Covering the 77th IGDS General Assembly in Seoul was an intensive and rewarding three-day project. My role was to capture every facet of this major international event, from keynote speakers and candid guest interactions to the crucial branding and sponsor visibility throughout the venue. The assignment demanded meticulous planning to ensure no key moment was missed, including a challenging but successful 100-person group portrait in a compact space, which required a specific two-flash setup. Working entirely with artificial light presented its own set of challenges, but it also allowed for consistent, controlled shots. A key part of the service was establishing an on-site workstation to edit and deliver high-priority images each day, ensuring the client had real-time assets for their media needs. It was a comprehensive test of organizational and technical skill, showcasing the dynamic nature of multi-day conference photography.
